Impact
Students hone their musical skills as they learn from the best of the best, but also have the opportunity to engage with crucial topics like public speaking, the balance of practice and play and the realities of leading a life in the arts. Chamberfest students leave with new friendships, deeper inspiration and powerful confidence.
History
Chamberfest was founded by Pavilion Scholarship Recipient Marie Daniels in 2013 and adopted as one of The Pavilion’s Arts Outreach programs the next year.
Curriculum
This week-long intensive entails four days of rehearsals and coaching and one 45-minute individual lesson for each student. At the week’s end there is a Festival Finale student performance. Students also have daily workshops on topics such as public speaking, improvisation, music history and communication through music.
